Looking for a flexible role that fits around your side hustle? We're seeking a reliable and safety-focused Casual Terminal Operator to join our clients operations team based at Port Botany. This hands-on position is ideal for someone who enjoys practical work, variety, and the opportunity to build capability in a specialised industrial environment.

As a Terminal Operator, you'll support the safe and efficient running of terminal operations. Every shift brings something different, and you'll be an important part of ensuring product movements and on-site activities run smoothly.

  • Perform all terminal operations including shipping, product transfers, and tank gauging, including stock level calculations

  • Maintain stock control and accurate recording of product movements

  • Conduct truck loading operations and assist with the loading of packaged goods

  • Operate terminal control systems and follow established operational procedures

  • Carry out routine equipment checks and support site safety and housekeeping standards

  • Assist with coordination of deliveries, vessel operations, and general terminal tasks as required

Ihre Qualifikationen

  • A trade qualification in a Mechanical / Technical field would be highly desirable
  • Training and experience in truck and ship loading, as well as wharf duties is bonus but not required
  • Experience in chemical handling facility operations desirable
  • Understanding of handling Dangerous Goods and Hazardous chemicals
  • Computer literacy
  • Physically fit and ready for a hands-on job.
  • Valid forklift license or willing to obtain
  • Confined space training certification or be willing to obtain
  • Willingness to complete a police check and drug and alcohol test.
