About this role

We're currently seeking an experienced Commissioning Electrician to join a major wind farm project based in Dubbo, NSW. This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of Australia's growing renewable energy sector, working on cutting-edge turbine technology in a dynamic site environment.

  • Carry out electrical commissioning activities to approved procedures
  • Perform installation, testing, verification, and fault finding
  • Execute turbine energisation/de-energisation under HV procedures
  • Diagnose and rectify faults across ELV, LV & HV systems
  • Apply and manage LOTO procedures safely
  • Ensure all commissioning documentation is completed accurately
  • Maintain strict adherence to site safety and EHS requirements

Is this you?

  • Current Australian Electrical Licence (essential)
  • GWO BST & ART (essential)
  • High Voltage Switching certification (essential)
  • Experience working on wind farms or similar heavy industry projects
  • Strong understanding of AC/DC systems and electrical schematics
  • Experience with SCADA and network systems (advantageous)
  • Ability to work at heights and in remote site environments
  • Strong communication and reporting skills
  • Full Australian work rights
