Introduction

This is an opportunity to step into a senior commercial position supporting the delivery of complex road, transport and civil infrastructure projects across Sydney. You'll work alongside highly experienced project teams and have genuine influence over project outcomes, commercial strategy and subcontractor management from project award through to completion

What are you going to do 

  • Lead subcontractor procurement, negotiations and contract administration activities.
  • Manage variations, progress claims, payment schedules and commercial correspondence.
  • Drive project cost control, forecasting and financial performance reporting.
  • Support head contract administration and client engagement.
  • Identify and manage commercial risks and opportunities throughout project delivery.
  • Work closely with Project Managers and delivery teams to maximise project outcomes.
  • Ensure contractual compliance and commercial governance across projects.

Essential skills and knowledge 

  • Degree qualified in Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, Engineering or a related discipline.
  • Minimum 3-4 years experience operating as a Senior Contract Administrator within civil infrastructure construction.
  • Strong experience delivering TfNSW, road, bridge or major infrastructure projects.
  • Demonstrated background working for a Tier 1 contractor or established Tier 2 civil contractor.
