We are hiring an E&I Technician for a 6-month assignment in East Jakarta. The role involves maintaining electrical and instrumentation systems in a dynamic manufacturing environment. Candidates should have strong calibration and troubleshooting skills, a commitment to safety and continuous improvement, and the ability to manage documentation, maintenance planning, and coordination with stakeholders. Flexibility for shift work and urgent repairs is essential.
Perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on electrical systems (LV/MV switchgear, transformers, motors) and instrumentation (transmitters, analyzers, control valves) in compliance with GSAP/Streamline, PTW, and HSSE protocols
Diagnose and troubleshoot malfunctions in instrumentation, automation, and control systems using CMMS and field expertise
Support commissioning and start-up of new equipment or plant sections, liaising with operations, engineering, and procurement teams
Maintain calibration accuracy of field instruments and execute equipment inspections, tests, and documentation
Administer spare-parts inventory, work order logging, progress reporting, and safety documentation
Collaborate with contractors during maintenance, ensuring quality, productivity, and safety compliance
Identify recurring issues, recommend improvements, and update technical standards and SOPs
Requirements:
Indonesian nationality
Diploma (D3) or higher in Electrical, Instrumentation, Electronics, Mechatronics, or related field
1-5 years of hands-on maintenance experience in relevant industries
Proficient in CMMS, calibration, and inventory management
Strong knowledge of LV/MV systems, field instruments, DCS/PLC basics, control logic, and HSSE standards
Able to work independently, mentor juniors, and handle safe work permits
