Introduction
The team work onsite servicing and maintaining power generation equipment. This includes generators, engines, and associated mechanical equipment critical to remote and regional power supply. Whether you're a qualified Diesel Mechanic, Mechanical Fitter, or have another mechanical trade background, if you're mechanically minded and keen to learn you are encouraged to apply.
What are you going to do
- Perform routine maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on mechanical systems, including generators and engines.
- Support the installation and commissioning of mechanical equipment.
- Work from maintenance schedules and job plans, updating records and service documentation.
- Collaborate with electrical and technical teams to ensure smooth service delivery.
- Follow all safety protocols and contribute to a positive safety culture
Essential skills and knowledge
- Trade qualified in Mechanical Fitting, Diesel Mechanics, Plant Mechanics, or similar.
- Good general mechanical aptitude - power generation experience is not required.
- A proactive attitude and willingness to learn new systems and technologies.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
