Introduction

We are looking for a detail-oriented Test Engineer to join our engineering team. You will design, execute, and maintain test plans for hardware and software systems, ensuring products meet quality, safety, and performance standards before release. You'll work closely with development, quality assurance, and product teams throughout the full test lifecycle.

What are you going to do

Design, document, and execute functional, regression, and performance test plans.
Develop and maintain automated test scripts and frameworks.
Identify, log, and track defects through to resolution in collaboration with development teams.
Set up and maintain test environments, tools, and equipment.
Perform root-cause analysis on test failures and recommend corrective actions.
Contribute to continuous improvement of test processes and quality standards.
Prepare clear test reports and documentation for internal stakeholders.

Essential skills and knowledge

Completed education in Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Computer Science, Mechatronics, or a comparable field.* 2+ years of experience in a test engineering or QA role.
* Experience with test automation tools (e.g. Selenium, pytest, or similar).* Familiarity with version control (Git) and issue tracking systems (Jira or similar).
* Strong analytical mindset and structured, independent way of working.* Good command of English, both written and spoken; Dutch is a plus.
